DEPOSITS ARE NON REFUNDABLE OR TRANSFERABLE

Your products are being ordered/allocated specifically for you by Renaissance Design Studio so any cancellations or amendments are subject to charges and or restocking fees. All changes must be made in writing to hello@renaissancedesignstudio.ie

RETURNS POLICY

Returns are subject to a 50% restocking charge of the entire order value and is strictly at the discretion of Renaissance Design Studio and can only be arranged in writing via email communications to hello@renaissancedesignstudio.ie
Items must be in their original packaging and have not been used, assembled or hung up. This does not affect your statuary rights.

We cannot offer returns on bespoke or made to order items- this can include custom made beds, tables, chairs, sofas, dining chairs that have been made specific to customer requirements including fabric colours and custom sizes.

Due to hygiene reasons mattresses cannot be returned.

DAMAGES

All damages must be reported in writing along with clear photographic evidence within 36 hours of product delivery/receipt and sent via email to hello@renaissancedesignstudio.ie

DELIVERY

Delivery and or assembly is an optional extra.
Many pieces may require home assembly. If you require your furniture to be placed in a specific room this can be pre-arranged at the time of placing your order, however, we cannot accept any liability for any damage to property that might happen therein as a result. 

Delivery Damage waiver:  If you would like us to enter your home the delivery driver will request that you sign a waiver form. If you do not agree to signing this form then our delivery team will not be able to place your delivery in the rooms required. Our team will take due care when delivering your items but we cannot take responsibility for any damage that may be caused while the delivery is taking place. 

When items delivered will be held in storage we strongly advise they are fully checked by yourselves or a nominated person at time of delivery for any damage.

DAMAGE NOT REPORTED WITHIN 36 HOURS AFTER THE DELIVERY DATE WILL NOT BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.

COLLECTIONS

Collections must be pre-arranged with us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid delays.
Mirrors and mirrored pieces are fully checked and photographed before dispatch.
CCTV is in operation at the dispatch department, to avoid any disputes thereafter.

LEAD TIMES  WAIVER

Our products are subject to availability from our suppliers; therefore we give general guidance or an approximate lead time when you place your order. The dates are not automatically guaranteed but we will do our utmost to ensure products are available by the stated date (if any) or within a reasonable period thereafter. We will make every effort to keep you informed and to ensure the approximate lead time is accurate.  We do not take liability for losses resulting from delayed delivery, including those caused by manufacturing delays, public or bank holidays, or unforeseen circumstances or Force majeure.

If a guaranteed end date is pre-determined it shall be stated in the Contract.

Liability in Case of Late Delivery: Customer agrees to waive any claims for compensation due to late delivery of goods, except in cases of gross negligence or breach of contract by the seller.

Welcome to Renaissance Design Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and any purchases of physical products made through our Shopify-powered online store (the “Site”). By accessing our Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

These Terms are drafted to comply with Irish consumer law, including the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013 (“Distance Selling Regulations”).

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site.

1. About Us

Renaissance Design Studio is a business operating in Ireland, selling physical design-led products online.

2. Online Store Terms

By using this Site, you confirm that: - You are at least 18 years old or have permission from a legal guardian. - You will not use our products or services for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose. - You will not transmit any viruses, malware, or harmful code.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any lawful reason at any time.

3. Products & Availability

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, images, and prices are accurate.

However: - Product images are for illustrative purposes only; colours may vary depending on your screen. - All products are subject to availability. - We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue products without notice.

If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you and issue a full refund where applicable.

4. Prices, Taxes & Payment

All prices are listed in EUR and include VAT unless stated otherwise at checkout.

Payment is processed securely through Shopify’s payment providers. By completing a purchase, you confirm that: - You are authorised to use the selected payment method. - All billing and delivery information provided is accurate.

We reserve the right to cancel orders where pricing errors are identified, in line with Irish contract law.

5. Order Acceptance

A legally binding contract is formed only when: - You receive an order confirmation email and - Your order has been dispatched.

We may refuse or cancel an order if: - Payment is not authorised - There is a pricing or stock error - Fraud or unauthorised activity is suspected

If your order is cancelled, any payment taken will be refunded in full.

6. Shipping & Delivery

Delivery options, costs, and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout. If the delivery chosen is not sufficient to cover your purchase for example heavy items or white glove service delivery (3 man delivery) we will contact you directly to discuss.

Please note: - Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. - Delays may occur due to courier issues, customs, weather, or other factors outside our control.

Risk of loss or damage passes to you once the goods are delivered to the address provided.

If goods arrive damaged, you must notify us within 48 hours and provide supporting evidence (e.g. photographs).

7. Consumer Right to Cancel (Distance Selling)

Under Irish and EU consumer law, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must: - Notify us clearly (by email or contact form) - Return the goods within 14 days of cancellation

Returned items must: - Be unused - Be in their original condition and packaging

You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

We will issue a refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return.

8. Exceptions to the Right to Cancel

The right to cancel does not apply to: - Custom-made or personalised items - Goods that are sealed for hygiene reasons and unsealed after delivery - Items damaged due to misuse or wear beyond reasonable inspection

These exclusions are permitted under Irish consumer law.

9. Faulty or Incorrect Goods

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

If goods are faulty, not as described, or incorrect, you are entitled to: - Repair - Replacement - Refund (where applicable)

Please contact us as soon as possible so we can resolve the issue promptly.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including designs, images, logos, text, and graphics, is the property of Renaissance Design Studio or its licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit any content without prior written permission.

11. User Content & Feedback

If you submit reviews, comments, or feedback, you grant us the right to use them for business and marketing purposes.

You confirm that your submissions: - Are lawful and accurate - Do not infringe third-party rights

12. Third-Party Services

Our Site uses third-party services (including Shopify) to operate payments, shipping, and analytics.

We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party websites or services.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Site or products.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be excluded under Irish law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Renaissance Design Studio against any claim arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Site.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and Irish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect once posted on the Site.
