Iced Glacier iridescent glass vase

Glacier is an imposing vase with the icy colours of a glacier: the upper part of the slightly iridescent surface is dotted with white and grey murrine (spots created when slices of coloured glass are fused on or between transparent layers). The lower part was kept transparent, but it in turn was immersed in fine smithereens of glass, which have stuck to it like ice crystals.
